Privacy Policy

Last updated October 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy applies to Meds and all Apponance, Inc. apps.

Health data in Meds. Meds stores the medications, schedules, dose answers (taken, skipped, snoozed), refills, health readings (such as blood pressure, blood glucose, weight, heart rate, temperature and oxygen saturation), target ranges, notes and profile names that you enter. Sign-in with Google or Apple is required: your records are stored on your device and synced to your account through Firebase so they can be restored on a new phone. Meds contains no advertising, sends no analytics, and never sells or shares health data with third parties. Reminders are scheduled on your device by the operating system; the text of a reminder (a medication name, and the name of a person you look after) is shown by your phone's notification system. Reports (CSV and the PDF doctor report) are generated on your device and go only where you choose to share them. Target ranges in Meds are the ones you set; Meds does not diagnose, treat or give medical advice.

Sharing a profile with a caregiver. If you invite someone to a profile you own, they see that profile's medications, schedules, dose history, refills and readings. A caregiver can also record doses and edit that profile's medications and readings; a viewer can only look. They never see your other profiles. You can change a member's role or remove them at any time, and removal takes effect immediately; a member can leave at any time. When a caregiver or viewer deletes their account, only their membership is removed — the profile and its records stay with the owner.
